Prior to joining MedEquity, Mr. Gates held senior executive positions in the healthcare industry at GE Medical Systems and Concentra, Inc. Mr. Gates began his professional career at Bain & Company, strategic management consultants, where he served as a Partner from 1982 to 1988. He is a graduate of Princeton University and the Harvard Business School. Mr. Gates has served as a director of MediChem Life Sciences, Heartlab, Inc., EnduraCare Therapy Management Systems, Inc., Decision Management International, Inc., OnCURE Medical Corp., and Crescent Healthcare, Inc. He also currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Vincent Memorial Hospital at Mass General in Boston.
