Prior to joining MedEquity, Mr. Ward was a Vice President in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group of PaineWebber Incorporated. While at PaineWebber, Mr. Ward executed financing and merger and acquisition advisory transactions for a broad range of companies across the healthcare service and life sciences sectors. Prior to joining PaineWebber, Mr. Ward was a Vice President of Acadian Asset Management, an international investment management firm. Mr. Ward is a graduate of the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia and Colby College. Mr. Ward is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Mr. Ward has served as a director of LeadScope, Inc., VelQuest Corporation, and OnCURE Medical Corp.
